VIVA: IWA Open Access Agreement

IWA Publishing Transformative Agreement

VIVA has a three-year transformative agreement with International Water Association (IWA) Publishing. The agreement, which began on January 1, 2023 and continues until December 31, 2025, includes read access to all available content in 10 Subscribe to Open journals and immediate OA publishing in 14 Subscribe to Open and Gold Open Access journals. Corresponding authors at all VIVA institutions can publish open access journal articles at no cost. No administration is required. Authors are identified through a variety of data points, including email domain, ROR ID, and Grid ID.

Please note that 4 titles published in association with Elsevier are not included in the agreement. These journals are: Water Research, Water Research X, Water Resources and Economics, and Water Resources and Industry.
