VIVA Member Libraries and FTE

VIVA is the consortium of non-profit academic libraries within the Commonwealth of Virginia. These include:

  • 39 state-assisted colleges and universities (at 55 campuses)
    • 8 doctoral institutions
    • 7 4-year comprehensive colleges and universities
    • 24 community and 2-year branch colleges (at 40 campuses)
  • 31 independent (private, not-for-profit) colleges and universities
  • Other educational and research institutions

VIVA FTE 2022-23

Annualized 2022-23 FTE for the public and independent institutions were provided by the State Council of Higher Education of Virginia. Annualized FTE = Total undergraduate and graduate credit hours divided by 30 and the total professional credit hours divided by 24.
