VIVA: Collections
VIVA’s primary collections objective is to level the academic playing field throughout Virginia by ensuring that students and faculty across the state have access to the same high-quality research resources, no matter the size or type of their institution. The consortium does this by collaboratively setting collection development priorities and cooperatively negotiating and acquiring e-resources.
VIVA members provide free and open access to all VIVA resources for all users of their libraries. This includes any member of the public on the physical premises of a member library who wishes to use a VIVA resource.
