VIVA OER Office Hours

Join members of VIVA staff for monthly OER Office Hours!

These informal zoom sessions provide an opportunity for anyone at a VIVA member institution to stop by to ask questions or discuss open education or open educational resource (OER) questions. Staff will be on hand to answer questions about: 

• VIVA Grants (e.g. open RFPs, expectations, grant program stats)
• VIVA Publishing support (e.g. platforms and publishing service support)
• Open Licensing (e.g. Creative Commons licensing)
• VIVA Open and Affordable Programming (e.g. COALA, OEN membership or workshops)

We also invite VIVA Open Grantees or others working on adopting, customizing, or writing an OER to take advantage of these sessions to block off dedicated working/writing time. We can be your accountability partner and/or answer questions as you work.

VIVA staff will be on zoom for the full two hours, so feel free to join whenever during the two hours works best for your schedule.

This session is open to anyone at a VIVA member institution, including faculty, staff, and students, involved in open education projects.

What?

VIVA OER Office Hours! Informal, drop-in style. 

When?

The last Friday of every month, from 10am-noon. 

*February 2025 will be on Thursday, 2/27.
