VIVA: VIVA Open Adopt Recipients, 2020
In December, 2020, VIVA awarded their first round of VIVA Open Adopt Grants. $2,000 was awarded to individual instructors for the adoption of a pre-existing open resource. Awards support the time it takes to integrate open and no-cost materials into a syllabus, and they ensure that the results of those efforts are made widely available to Virginia educators. The awards listed here are anticipated to impact 7,633 students and provide a total of $857,734 in cost avoidance over the next 5 years.
