Renewed: Docuseek2 Complete Collection

VIVA has renewed the Docuseek2 Complete Collection for all public institutions with three years of access from 2024-2026. This includes an upgrade to the Complete Collection for public two-year institutions that currently have the Essentials Collection.

SUMMARY: VIVA has renewed its Docuseek subscription, initially funded through the CARES Act, with an upgrade to the Complete Collection for all public institutions, for three years from January 1, 2024 to December 31, 2026. The Complete Collection includes nearly 2,500 streaming videos from distributors like Bullfrog Films, Icarus Films, Film Movement, GOOD DOCS, First Run Features, and more. These documentary films cover a variety of subjects, including anthropology, environmental studies, history, and law and politics.

INSTITUTIONS AFFECTED: All public institutions. Public two-year institutions that currently have the Essentials Collection will be upgraded to the Complete Collection. Discounted rates are available for private institutions. 

EFFECTIVE DATE: January 1, 2024

ACCESS AND DISCOVERY: MARC records are available for download from your institution’s administrative portal. After logging in, navigate to the Cataloging tab from the My Account page. Additionally, promotional materials, such as postcards, flyers, and bookmarks are available on the Docuseek website.
