2 Year Partnership with PLOS

VIVA has started a two-year institutional partnership with PLOS in their Flat Fee Agreement, which allows corresponding authors at participating institutions to publish open access articles in seven PLOS journals at no cost.

SUMMARY: VIVA is beginning a new two-year partnership with PLOS. As part of the Flat Fee Agreement, corresponding authors at participating institutions can publish open access at no cost in seven PLOS journals: PLOS Complex Systems, PLOS Computational Biology, PLOS Digital Health, PLOS Genetics, PLOS Neglected Tropical Diseases, PLOS ONE, and PLOS Pathogens. No administration is required by researchers or library staff at participating institutions.  

INSTITUTIONS AFFECTED: All public institutions (except VCU and WM as they currently participate in another consortial agreement with PLOS). Discounted pricing for private institutions has been sent to Collection Development contacts. Please let us know if your institution would like to opt in by January 26, 2024.

EFFECTIVE DATE: January 1, 2024
