OER/Licensed Resources Task Force

In 2015, a Task Force of the Resource Sharing Committee conducted a survey of VIVA member library activities with regard to the use of Open Educational Resources (OER) and VIVA-licensed resources for teaching and learning. The work of this task force proved to be foundational to the later Open and Affordable Course Content program.

Charge:

Identify what VIVA member libraries are doing regarding the use of Open Educational Resources (OER) and VIVA-licensed resources for teaching and learning;
Research and make recommendations to VIVA regarding OER/VIVA-licensed resources as they relate to teaching and learning.
