Effective January 1, 2024, VIVA will start a new Read & Publish agreement with the American Chemical Society (ACS) that will allow corresponding authors at participating institutions to publish open access articles in ACS journals at no additional cost. Additionally, all private institutions have been upgraded to the All Publications package.

SUMMARY: VIVA is beginning a new Read &   Publish agreement with ACS. All participating institutions will now have read access to more than 70   journals in the ACS All Publications package, which represents a dramatic expansion of content for many private institutions. Participating institutions will have access to a CCC RightsLink institutional portal to manage funding requests; initial administrator accounts will be created for Collection Development Contacts. We highly recommend institutions turn on automatic approvals within the Billing Profiles menu to avoid having to manually approve each funding request. The attached screenshot shows how to configure automatic approvals.
