VIVA: Scholarly Communication Resources
Background
In 2016/2017 a joint working group, including members of the Virginia Scholarly Communications Interest Group (VASCIG) and VIVA central staff, compiled a number of resources in response to member requests for more training in current scholarly communication issues facing Virginia librarians.
Since the landscape of scholarly communication is such a broad one, the working group surveyed VIVA members to better understand particular categories of interest. Below is a list of vetted, but by no means comprehensive, recommended resources for professional development grouped by topical area of interest.
If you are looking for further resources in a given area, please feel free to contact the members of the working group directly, listed below. To join the VASCIG listserv, please fill out this form.
